Organization, Seminars, & Assistance Programs Available
Our organizational services help businesses address foundational problems in their culture and among their employees. These difficulties can be hard to diagnose and evaluate by management employees closest to the source of the problem. Summit Psychological Associates has professional staff trained and experienced in assessing an organization’s difficulties and putting together a plan of action for the resolution. This includes providing workshops on team building and interpersonal styles. Assessment of potential management employees for hire or promotion is also available.
Some of the services that Summit Psychological Associates provides to organizations include:
- Workplace Seminars
- Employee Assistance Programs
- Pre-employment/Promotional Evaluations
- Psychological Evaluations
- Fitness for Duty Evaluations
Workplace Seminars
We offer a wide variety of mental health and wellness seminars. Some of our programs deal directly with issues on the job, such as sexual harassment and violence in the workplace. However, others relate to employee lifestyle and therefore indirectly relate to the workplace. For example, our seminars on substance abuse and stress reduction can significantly impact workplace performance. All of our seminars benefit both employee and employer by identifying issues that affect the overall well-being of the individual and the organization.
Below is a sample of the topics. However, if you have a topic not on this list, please contact SPA so that our staff can develop a seminar to meet your company’s needs.
- Stress Reduction
- Violence in the Workplace
- Coping with Change
- Identifying Employees with Personal Problems
- Substance Abuse
Employee Assistance Programs
We provide Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) to help employees resolve personal difficulties before they become chronic and debilitating.
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides employees and their family members with an agreed-upon the number of sessions at no cost to the employee. If sessions are needed beyond the EAP, services can be billed directly to the health insurance company. The EAP is designed to aid employees, and their family members resolve personal difficulties. Referral issues may include but are not limited to:
- Stress and Anxiety
- Depression
- Compulsive Behaviors
- Relationship Difficulties
- Family Problems
- Career Development Issues
- Anger Control/Domestic Violence
- Problems on the Job
- Addictive Behavior/Substance Abuse
